1037 at 10:45 am, not all absentees fed in yet.

A little over 2000 voted in the general election of 06.

There are over 3000 names on the checklist, but I don't know how well purged it is.  They do try, but it is difficult in a rural town with a college.

I have one totally non-random exit poll from Indiana:  1 previous Bush voter is reported to have voted for Obama.  You can add that to Dixville Notch to hold you until evening.

We got stickers, but mine fell off. :-{

I think Nader and others complaints about similarities in the way the Dems and the Reps do business probably have merit. But in a democracy, one has to have a working majority. So, while I agree with some of his charges, I don't agree with his methods.

We've been having a redistribution of wealth. The ratio between the top earners and the bottom ones has steadily increased over the years of trickle-down economics. And what we have is trickle-down economic disaster. I could do with a halt to that redistribution of wealth. :-} And rotted fabric in the golden parachutes.

And, yes, everyone should have access to reasonable health care. I foresee some difficulty in defining what is "reasonable" and who is "everyone".

Anyway, enough sputtering about politics. There has been a nice meme going around of people dredging up good pictures. It has been a relief to see those.

And I do hope to participate in your great question series. There was one on Chalion recently, and I had just been re-reading it, but it came at a bad time. Skipping ahead a bit, I wonder if Ingrey's wolf was so well prepared that it could leave without aid of a shaman? It was a very special wolf. Of course, we have Ijada to think about. Actuarial tables are against her going before Ingrey unless she has childbirth complications, and I hate to wish that on her . . .

Hee hee, yeah, we'll see on the politics, and I'm happy to stop blathering on about it. :-)

Did you see the picture I put up? My son is the cutest thing ever! ;-D

I'm glad you're enjoying the questions. I haven't sent out a new one because I feel the Chalion question is still engendering a lot of discussion. And no matter what I say about discussion on the old questions continuting, after I throw a new one, it does peter out on the current one. So I'll probably just send a new one out on Monday. :-)

Any requests?

Interesting ideas about The Hallowed Hunt. I really do wonder what might happen there, though I don't think I've thought about it as much as you have! :-)

Did you see the picture I put up?

Yes, I did. Beautiful picture of a wonderful child! I've enjoyed the other pictures you have posted, too. I meant to say something at the time, but was skimming through FL in a rush. One advantage of responding to comments is that I can always (well, almost always) find the comment notification email when I have time.

I do enjoy the questions. Haven't had time recently to read all the responses, much less contribute. And I hate to post if I'm not up on my reading. But the List has been very busy of late, much of it on topic, and that latter is largely due to you! My time will clear up, presently, and I keep the emails on gmail, which is very useful for searching.

Thanks! we think he's amazing, but he's ours. :-)

Yeah, I've been posting the questions, but I don't always have time to participate, though I have been mostly keeping up with the discussions.

I do think it's nice to have lots of ontopic chat onlist. I'm not always interested in the offtopic stuff, though sometimes I am. I tend to be more generally interesting in the ontopic. Plus, I think it makes Lois more happy. :-)

Ouch! (Just read your LMB note about your son's broken toe.) Ouch, ouch. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery!

Thanks, he's already doing much better by today.

I'm more worried about him than he is by far. ;-)
